How Do I place an Order?

You can place your order online by first navigating to the specific style you would like. Once you see the style you would like to order, you then select the type of graphic and color you would like on your bag, as well as the color rope you would like your straps to be. Once you have selected those three options click "add to cart" and you will then be directed to your payment options. Please note, if you would like to include a message with your order, you will be given the option to do so during the checkout process.

How do I place a custom order/ What is a custom order?

Please refer to the CUSTOM section of our website and feel free to add the size and style item you would like to your cart. You can then include a note during the checkout process for what you would like for design/colors that will be sent directly to Jenny.

A custom order can be anything from a specific name (either in text or marine signals), number, image, logo, burgee, or alteration of the regular sizing of one of our products, such as a shower curtain.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as you complete the checkout process.

How will my order be shipped?

We ship all orders using USPS. We have several options available for expedited shipping service, however, unless you choose otherwise, we will ship using USPS Priority Service which estimates 1-3 days in the continental US.

How long will it take to receive my purchase?

Your bag will be shipped the same day we receive your order if it is a standard design and USPS estimates 1-3 days in the continental US. If it is a custom item or shower curtain, our lead times may vary according to our current sales volume, but you can expect to receive it in 2 weeks, as all custom orders and shower curtains are handcrafted according to your specifications.  Please remember to order early for Christmas!!!

How can I make returns or exchanges?

Returns/Exchanges are accepted for credit or exchange within 7 days and accompanied by a sales receipt. A refund will be made to the purchaser upon request if payment has been received and there will be a 10% restocking fee if free shipping was granted. Gift recipients will be given a nonrefundable merchandise credit. Please send all return inquires to terri@secondwindsails.net. There will be no returns or credits given on custom orders or shower curtains as those products are all made to order. Return shipping is at the customer's expense.
